The Office of Technology Transfer and Commercialization opened their second solicitation on July 15, 2004, and it closes August 16, 2004. The first solicitation resulted in $1.4 million in awards. Over 34% of qualified proposals were funded. This grant program is a quick turn around, faster than SBIR, has a short application, is available to companies nationwide, and offers first time funding of up to 100K. Follow on funding is open on a non-competitive basis.
